HOW TO GET THERE?

The university campus is on the outskirts of the city. You can take a bus or a taxi to the dormitory or to the Main Building of Eesti Maaülikool. The taxi drivers all speak some English and all the taxis are equipped with a metre.

 

BY BUS

AESOP 2022 delegates can use public transportation in Tartu for free (the AESOP 2022 name badge works as a ticket). You can check the bus schedule here.

To get to the AESOP venue take bus nr. 3 and 6 (bus stop Eesti Maaülikool and Tartu Näitused).

BY TAXI

We recommend using the environment-friendly Elektritakso which uses only electric cars. Call +372 5749 5749 or +372 5685 8954 to order a cab or download their app on Google Play or Apple store. 

 

From Google Play and the Apple store, you can find also our local taxi app BOLT. Bolt offers taxi ordering and also electrical scooter renting from the same app. BOLT taxi prices depend on demand. In the morning and in the evening, prices are a little higher than during the day.

 
ON FOOT It is approximately a 3 km walk from the city centre alongside the river to the campus.

  • Gala Dinner. Doors open at 20:00 and the official start is at 20:30. As it is a science centre with exhibitions and hands-on attractions, there is much to see and do if you arrive at 20:00 already.

HOW TO GET THERE?

  • We suggest taking a bus nr 3 or 6 from Tartu Näitused bus stop to Soola I stop. From Soola I stop it is about a 4-minute walk to the AHHAA.
  • From the EMÜ Sports Club, it is a 3km walk, about 40 minutes.
  • If you are already at your hotel in the city centre, it is probably a few minutes' walk away. The location is near the Bus Station.
